DoorDash came to us in H2 wanting help pushing into upper funnel objectives in anticipation of a UI and service offering update that would launch along with a Super Bowl spot and sweepstakes. The brand is well know as a prepared-food delivery service, but not really for anything else. To truly change how people saw DoorDash, we needed an epic, way to launch its new position - that DoorDash can deliver just about ANYTHING. To do this, Wieden+Kennedy devised a stunt to deliver every item advertised during the Super Bowl
to one lucky person who enters a promo code on DoorDash's website. One catch, the promo code is crazy-long. To extend the spot on Meta, DoorDash partnered with Lonnie Marts (the official 'Dashspondent'), and a series of other diverse creators, across categories like Food, Cars, Gaming, and "Nerdstyle" to tease the sweepstakes leading up to the big game, keep a running tally of items during the game, and then go live immediately following the spot to help people correctly enter the impossibly long promo code.
